These fillings can form a uniform pore structure after burnt during the process of manufacture by combustible method, chemical method or foam method.

In the market, commonly used mullite poly insulation brick with volume density of 0.75-1.2g/cm3, cold crushing strength of 2.0-5.9MPa, thermal conductivity of 0.22-0.44w/(m.k), working temperature is 1200-1400℃.
